Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

My son and I went on the Thursday excursion (6 hours) and it was phenomenal. The crew on this boat is always great and extremely attentive. We caught tons of fish. I’ve been out with these crew members for many years now and it’s always a great time. I highly recommend the trip.

We had a flat calm day,a plus in my book. I usually board the Jupiter boat but it was down due to electrical issues and we opted for the Riviera location. Both captains were aboard plus 2 mates. Their camaraderie and enthusiasm made the day exceptional. I’m not sure of the total number of fish that were brought aboard but it was plentiful and the ability of the crew to handle novice customers with experience customers alongside was extraordinary.if you want an awesome day of fishing this is the crew you want. Call them, schedule a half day/ full day. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Blue Heron Fishing Team. I will be back.
