Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Great Experience with the Half Day Deep-Sea Fishing Trip! This was the first deep sea fishing experience we have had so I have nothing to compare it to, but my 16 year old and his 16 year old friend had a great time. Sean and the crew did a great job explaining everything and were always there if we had questions or needed help. We also caught about 15 fish so that was a nice treat. The crew even recommended that we have Johnny Longboats to cook up the fish - we did and it was fabulous. If you have a chance to go, don't hesitate - great experience and memories were made.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. Sean and “Sonic” were great, funny and very attentive to everyone on the boat. The fishing trip is very well organized; bait was hooked and ready to go ALL THE TIME. Highly recommend doing this fishing trip while in town.
