Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Had a great morning on the boat with my son and about 20 people in total. Plenty of space. Nice large, clean boat. The crew was very helpful and encouraging. Never waited more than a few seconds for any assistance. Lots of fish caught. We will certainly do this again soon!

Incredible experience. A.J & Sean were the best. They helped the kids catch great fish and made the trip so fun. They do everything for you. Can’t recommend the trip enough. Highlight of our Spring Break.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! The captain and mates were so friendly and worked their tail off to help everyone. They were so kind and patient with me and my son and encouraging to us. They put our bait on every time and rapid speed. My son caught his very first fish. I would recommend this trip to beginners but also well experienced fisherman. Everyone on the boat had a great time. Can’t wait to go back!
