Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

My daughter, son in law and I went out Sunday morning. My Favorite part was and were the crew mates, and the captain too; they were friendly, funny, helpful and happy. This "Mom" had a great time and caught a few fish...I wish they had a monthly program/cost for their fishing trips. I wonder if they will ever have a night fishing trip? I would recommend this boat and crew to anyone! Thanks guys! Oh, they use sardines instead of just squid...less stinky, lol....Fun in the sun Ling

Love the crew! Funny, interactive, great sense of humor. Truly enjoyed the day. They baited and took all the fish off the hook for everyone too. Never has to wait for help or assistance. Great team!! Will book with them for all our outings. Looking forward to our next trip already!!

What a great day! The crew is very friendly and fun! I booked this for my son (who caught multiple fish) and the whole family loved it! I even decided to fish myself and really enjoyed it (im not that into fishing so that says something) So awesome that they filet your catches for you when you return. We went right to our resort and cooked them up! Thanks so much for an amazing family day!!! A memory we won't forget and will definitely cherish
