Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Jenna was amazing with all the kids even the baby they were so understanding, and even let me bring his infant carrier. They worked hard to make sure my son caught a fish! We will never forget the memories made on this trip. Staff was phenomenal!

I booked this fishing trip for my husbands father's day celebration. The staff were very nice and helpful. My husband and boys were thrilled. I caught the 2nd largest fish!! Looking forward to going again 😀

We had a family trip, 5 adults and 2 kids, and the reviews were very accurate. We had a great experience! The crew was amazing and allowed us to learn how to fish and how to detangle lines. We were fortunate that the boat was only about 50% capacity, so the crew actually had time to help our kids. The captain kept everything in check, he only had a few salty remarks about our lack of fishing skills. We really appreciated the accommodations and the personality of the crew. Definitely will come back again.
