Overview

The Reward Fleet is one of Miami’s oldest and most recognized charter fishing party boats. We run at least 3 trips daily (morning, afternoon and evening) out of Bayside Marketplace Marina in Miami.

All trips depart Miami through its main ship channel – Government Cut. Because of our location, it only takes a few short minutes to reach the fishing grounds off Miami. We usually fish the local reefs , ledges, drop-offs and wrecks in search of a variety of species – from bottom fish like snappers and groupers, to reef and wreck dwellers like amberjack and kingfish, even pelagic fish like sailfish and tuna are very common.

Fishing methods will vary depending on conditions and time of year, but be assured the captains of the Reward fishing fleet will do everything possible to put you on the fish and have great time while you’re aboard. Sometimes we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting and jigging, and if conditions permit, we’ll even put a fishing kite.

This trip was SO fun. The crew was unbelievably helpful and kind, and made sure we had lines in the water at all times. They were determined to help us all catch a fish. It was also so fun to watch everyone reel in their fish and see the things people caught! My husband caught a tiger shark! Super super rare, but really cool to see. 4 hours is the perfect amount of time. And such a fair price. Would definitely recommend! You enter in at the bayside, which was also awesome because it’s right by an outlet mall and good food for after the trip!

The weather was awesome. We left on time. The captain David did his best to make our experience successful by taking us to several spots. Demi was a great deckmate helping with our reeling in and even serving drinks. Bait provided, fishing poles provided, but if wanted to could bring your own. This is a fishing boat, while there is a toilet there is no running water (not a complaint, just informing those who may not understand this). Would advise to bring hand wipes, they did try and help with a bucket of water, dish detergent and clean towels. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is because there is an issue (they are working on) between Viator and the fishing company. I scheduled for one night and then it switched me to a morning trip, I informed the fishing company, but unfortunately when cancelled I wasn't informed. It was easily changed to the next day, but did effect our transportation and plans.
