Overview

The Reward Fleet is one of Miami’s oldest and most recognized charter fishing party boats. We run at least 3 trips daily (morning, afternoon and evening) out of Bayside Marketplace Marina in Miami.

All trips depart Miami through its main ship channel – Government Cut. Because of our location, it only takes a few short minutes to reach the fishing grounds off Miami. We usually fish the local reefs , ledges, drop-offs and wrecks in search of a variety of species – from bottom fish like snappers and groupers, to reef and wreck dwellers like amberjack and kingfish, even pelagic fish like sailfish and tuna are very common.

Fishing methods will vary depending on conditions and time of year, but be assured the captains of the Reward fishing fleet will do everything possible to put you on the fish and have great time while you’re aboard. Sometimes we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting and jigging, and if conditions permit, we’ll even put a fishing kite.

My boyfriend & I went deep sea fishing for the first time and this is not what we expected. The instructors talked to everyone except us then when my boyfriend caught his first catch no one helped him the way they helped everyone else and it made us feel a way. Then when the lady was handing him the fish to hold with the pole (pretty big) an he panicked because he didn’t have any instructions the lady yelled $300 towards him really aggressive & we didn’t appreciate that! Poor customer service and care for us. I would call it something else but whatever! There was no soap nor running water to wash our hands/flush after using the bathroom which is very uncomfortable in hot weather. Lastly as we were leaving the lady told everyone else to have a good day and paused to say it to us as if she didn’t want to. I thought it would be great because of the reviews but I guess it depends on the person you are. It was an experience but a waste of our money during our vacation

Good boat staff, friendly but young in terms of fishing, but as someone who is experienced in fishing tours the captain of the boat doesn't know his fishing spots, only Bonita's and that's 4 Bonita's caught by everyone in a five hour tour 5 fishing stops, and that's from a 40+ guests, being in tours where every one lands 2-3 fishes mostly red or mutton snapper every 6-10 mins though in the panhandle of FL and in NC

Left at dock after poor communication. Called a few times because of having problems with patking and finding dock..

Dominque called the office shortly before 9:00am. He was told where to find the boat. He then called at 9:08 to report that the boat had left because he did not report on time. Instead of contacting the office in ample time to secure their trip they missed the boat. Please issue them a refund. Thank you.
