Overview

The Reward Fleet is one of Miami’s oldest and most recognized charter fishing party boats. We run at least 3 trips daily (morning, afternoon and evening) out of Bayside Marketplace Marina in Miami.

All trips depart Miami through its main ship channel – Government Cut. Because of our location, it only takes a few short minutes to reach the fishing grounds off Miami. We usually fish the local reefs , ledges, drop-offs and wrecks in search of a variety of species – from bottom fish like snappers and groupers, to reef and wreck dwellers like amberjack and kingfish, even pelagic fish like sailfish and tuna are very common.

Fishing methods will vary depending on conditions and time of year, but be assured the captains of the Reward fishing fleet will do everything possible to put you on the fish and have great time while you’re aboard. Sometimes we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting and jigging, and if conditions permit, we’ll even put a fishing kite.

Good experience. But it wasn't made clear the the morning trip was only Reef fishing not deep sea and boat was crowded 38 people onboard.Although I did catch some small fish. So I re booked at half price with boat company for the afternoon trip which was deep sea but all fishing was from 1 side of the boat and with 27 fishing it was somewhat crowded and lines got tangled. Some fish we cought but I didn't catch any. Also Dead bait was provided, but live bait you had to pay extra for at $10 and you didn't get much for your money. So would recommend you check before you book what you are going out for Deep Sea or Reef fishing.

It was a great experience. They were amazing tour guides and even better fisherman. My boyfriend was the only one of us 3 to catch a fish but my son and I just enjoyed being out in the ocean on a boat. I highly recommend this group and will definitely using them again if we ever get back down this way.
