I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good day on the water. The crew seems very knowledgable about the ocean and fishing. Eventhough I only caught a small snapper the crew I feel put in alot of effort to catch us fish, which included moving the boat a few times and changing baits. Get this one of the guys who works on the boat even let me reel in his fish when he hooked it, what a stand up character. Overall a great experience and I will be on this boat again.

The days was stinking hot (over 100 F, 40 c) but we were parked in the blazing sun all day while we fished. It was nearly unbearable. They ran out of bottled water after a couple of hours, and there was no other drinking water on board, so I got even hotter. The toilets are poor. The crew were OK, although one retained the change from a $10 note that I gave her despite 2 requests for it to be returned. But I did manage to catch a decent fish, as did most people on board. The most impressive aspect was the free cleaning and filleting of your fish, which was skillfully done by the crew on the way back. Overall: Average.

Ive been fishing for 24 years since I was 2 years old and this fishing trip was really just ok in my opinion. First off I was under the impression that we would be jigging for Amber Jacks and fish of a decent size as this is what the website suggest. We ended up just fishing for average Bonito but the worse part was that everyone was fishing on one side (18+ People) so we all spent more time tangled up than we did fishing. They said this was because they were drifting side on and if they put people on the other size the lines would go under the boat.. this is true but to be honest I have never been on a boat that drifts sideways but its just the way it was. The people at the end of the boat caught a lot of fish because they didn't get tangled so it was good to see some people catching fish. After a couple hours I was messing with the drag on the reel because I felt it was to light but I was told to leave it as it was and sure enough a while later I got a strike and my reel got messed up because the drag was way to light. During my time in reeling in the fish I got tangled with at least 6+ lines and its was just a mission trying to get around everyone then in the end I ended up losing the fish because the deck hand was trying to untangle lines instead of gaffing the fish then sorting out the lines after. All in all was pretty average and spending most of the time tangled with other lines wasn't fun so I just stopped fishing in the end. It was only $50 so I can't complain to much and it did give me an opportunity to get some good pictures of Miami.
