Did this tour on a recent (and first trip) to LasVegas and absolutely loved it. Our guide was Preston and he was great, informative about the area and asked us questions about ourselves as well. We were picked up on time from the hotel of our choosing from a select group of choices. We were then driven the hour to the launch area, along the way Preston gave us some history of different areas we were passing. Once we arrived we were given time to change, then we were given a quick run down on how to board the kayaks. Once we launched we travelled as a group up the river taking in the breath taking scenery. We stopped on a beach for snacks and water which were provided for us. Offered an opportunity to swim in the river and then taken on a little hike to learn more about the area. We then continued up river to Emerald cove where we did have to wait about 40 minutes to get into, but with the scenery we had it was not a bad wait at all. We loaded into the cove took some pictures and then paddled back to the launch site still in awe of the beautiful landscape. We were given time to change and shop in the gift shop. FYI if you are staying on the strip, water in the gift shop was only a $1 so we stocked up for our room. We completely enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed this kayak trip. The guide, Juston, was wonderful. We got to swim and walk around in a few spots. The cove itself is nothing amazing, the water is emerald in other areas anyway. We were not rushed a all.
