Overview

Captain Mike and the crew of the Miss Chris take anglers out to the waters of Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Catches include Flounder, Sea Bass, Kingfish, Small Sharks and more. This is perfect for first time anglers, children and families, as the mates aboard the boat will assist with instruction on using fishing equipment, baiting hooks, and untangling fish and lines. The crew aboard the Miss Chris can clean your catch. The trip includes views of Cape May Harbor, the United States Coast Guard Base and Cape May Lighthouse, depending on the route the Captain chooses.

Based on some of the other reviews I’ve read, I would like to be clear that it is a fishing boat, so it is focused on fishing. The trip was a lot of fun. I went with my 9 year old son. We would motor out to a spot, and then fish for about 15-20 minutes before then motoring off to another spot, fishing for another 15-20 minutes, and so it went for about 3.5-4 hours. We did the morning run which started at 8am. The fishing spots varied on depth and the type of fish you were going after, so that made it more interesting. We caught a few fish along the way, and at the end of the trip the crew filleted and cleaned them for us. Overall the crew was very helpful and friendly. I mean , they are a bunch of big burly guys, but “helpful” and “friendly” still holds :-) On our way home from the fishing trip, we stopped at a farmer’s market and bought fresh bread and vegetables. We had a nice lunch. From sea to table! It was a memorable trip!

Great day and they go above and beyond. We had a sudden change and a family member is now in a wheel chair, they went above a beyond and made sure he could get on the boat and enjoy the day on the water. I would go back and book with them for a fishing day!
