This was our first activity on our visit to Seattle, and we really enjoyed it. Terry was a great tour guide, so helpful and enthusiastic! We enjoyed Snoqualmie Falls very much and got some great photos thanks to Terry's photo tips. He also took us to several locations where optimal photos were to be had of the city's best spots. We weren't sure we were going to like Seattle, but Terry really helped us to learn to enjoy what the city had to offer, and we are glad we went. I'd recommend this tour to anyone, but especially those making their first visit to this beautiful city.

I was interested in a tour to take me to Snoqualmie Falls and found Shutter Tours which gave an added bonus of an introduction to the city of Seattle as well. The whole process of booking and meeting up for the tour was super easy. Terry was a great tour guide. He told us many stories and little known facts about Seattle during the whole tour making time fly by. The tour was four hours which was the perfect amount of time since we were only in Seattle for three nights and it left time to do other activities compared to a day trip which would take all day. We did the tour on our first full day in Seattle which was perfect so we could get orientated to the city and decide what all we wanted to see in more detail. The tour group was small with a max of 15 people which made it relaxing. Terry took good care of all of us and frequently made sure we were all enjoying the tour and our time in Seattle. He even packed bottled water and snacks. I would recommend this tour for people looking to see the falls and an overview of Seattle with a focus on photography.

Thank you for your nice review and having our tour be on your first day in the city is always a great way to get your orientation. I'm a history junkie about Seattle and glad you enjoyed all the stories and I think it important to share the context of what you are seeing. Thank you for appreciating the historic and fact side of the tour as well as the other parts of your trip. Terry Divyak Owner - Shutter Tours

First of all, I must agree with other reviewers - Terry was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, and a wealth of some great stories and history of Seattle. The small group size (13), photo tips, and comfortable van made for a pleasurable tour experience. The stops were well chosen to let the passengers see areas of Seattle that they might not otherwise visit. This was especially true for us since we had the Seattle City Pass and were going to hit a lot of the main "must see" locations in the Downtown/Pike Street Market/Pioneer Square/Waterfront Districts. Staring with Snoqualmie Falls was terrific since it got us into the country. It was beautiful and I had forgotten it was the setting for the old TV show Twin Peaks. From the Troll to the chocolate tasting to the final photo stop on Queen Anne Hill, it was a terrific tour. I think our favorite were the locks and fish ladder in Ballard. The nesting Great Blue Herons were an extra plus. For us, the tour started and ended at the Pike Street Market Information Booth - very convenient since we were staying at the Inn at the Market. Hotel pick-up and drop off is available in selected areas as well. All in all a wonderful excursion and very highly recommended.

We love getting out into the Cascade Mountains and seeing Snoqualmie Falls and I think its a perfect was to get out of the city and see "Twin Peaks" I'm happy you enjoyed the stories and history of Seattle and maybe you'll remember your trip to Seattle every time you step into a Starbucks. One of our favorite historic stories to share. We are lucky to have the Great Blue Heron, "Heronry" again this year at the locks and I'm glad you enjoyed see all the nests.
