What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Our guide Tom was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, funny, and helpful and made the trip that much better! Go early!!! The waterfall gets busy so book the earliest available spot, Tom got us there before anyone else so we could enjoy a more private experience at the waterfall. You will be walking through mud/water so plan accordingly!! This tour was nothing short of amazing, we will be doing it again next time we’re on the island and we will be doing the 7AM with Tom again.

Perfect day! Kyle was organized, informative, funny and kind. We left on time and were first to the waterfall! He prepared a lovely lunch, and gave us the right amount of both direction and independence. We have already booked a return trip when we are here with our children in the spring. Thank you
