What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

This was a well organized and fun 5 1/2 - 6 hour Kyak and hike to a waterfall. The tour guide was pleasant and shared local stories and information about the area. The tour was the perfect way to see the interior of the island. Lunch was a turkey and cheese sandwich on an artisan roll, it was tasty. They also provided a dry bag, chips, and 2 bottles of water per person. All in all it was a very nice tour and I would recommend this company.

The kayaking and hike were easy enough that people of various ages can participate. Thomas was great and very knowledgeable. It was nice to see various landscapes from the water to the river to the waterfall.
