What To Expect

Wailua River State Park

Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.

Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls)

After hiking 1 1/4 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/4 miles back to your kayak (2 1/2 miles of hiking round trip) Bring Closed Toed Shoes / Reef shoes / Teeva Style Sandals

Loved the kayak trip and hike to the beautiful waterfall. Thomas was a great guide! We enjoyed the lunch (turkey sandwich, chips, and pineapple)The kayak could be a struggle if you are too young or too old, however it’s fine as long as there is one able person per kayak. We felt this tour was a great value even though the waterfall area was packed with a lot of people. Still would recommend this tour!

What a perfect day to canoe and hike to the waterfall. The weather was cooperative and not really much wind. The canoe part was longer than we expected and to us that made it much more funner especially since we are both inexperienced canoe paddlers. But we quickly got the hang of it. The hiking part to the falls was amazing because our tour guide, Christian was the best. If he wasn’t commenting on the tour, he was playing his ukulele. We all were in good spirits and he made our trip that much more enjoyable. Even tourists on other groups were saying how lucky we were and wanted in our tour because of Christian.
