My family of four (myself, my wife, 12 year-old son, and 8-year-old daughter) throughly enjoyed our hike and kayak experience with Rainbow tours today. Jordan our guide was friendly and helpful throughout the 5-hour long journey. The early morning introduction was quick, informal and informative. Masking guidelines were followed. I recommend this tour more than anything for the beautiful banks of the Wailua river. The flora and fauna is simply amazing and not to be missed. Kayaking for two miles is strenuous. Take it seriously when they say you need to be in moderate physical shape. Likewise the hike has some tough river crossings but is mostly on flat surface. Donā€™t forget close-toed water shoes. They saved my life on the wet and slippery parts of the hike. At the end of the one mile kayaking and one mile hike the prize is the Secret falls and it does not disappoint. It is glorious and an experience not to be missed. Bring your water-proof camera or phone to take pics with them family. And ask for our friendly guide Jordan who will make your experience that much nicer.

Jordan was an excellent guide. The river was incredibleā€¦views, views, views! Hike to the waterfall wasnā€™t strenuous for us at all. Easy actually. Got a little history lesson along the way and learned about the local flora which was a nice bonus. Falls were worth it!!!

Our guide Jordan was super good. He didnā€™t rush anyone and was very informative about the history of kauai. We were first time kayakers but had a great time . The hike is not too hard and the waterfall was worth the experience.
