Arrive at Willow Beach via your rental/personal vehicle, pay your entry fee into the park or use your National Park Pass to gain entry and you are ready for this fully guided

Paddle upstream into the narrow channels of the Black Canyon, and scour the banks to spot a variety of wildlife, including native Desert Big Horn Sheep, Bald Eagles and Coyote. This tour includes visits to an historical overlook with awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River, a visit to Emerald Cave and viewing the 100 year old river gauging station.

Learn the history of the river and its many uses over the past 100 years from our knowledgable Guides as they lead this 4 mile out-and -back paddling tour. Enjoy a complimentary snacks and bottled water and enjoy the river as it unfolds before you.

Please note: This tour does not include round-trip transportation from your hotel. You will need to rent a car to go to Willow Beach. Please DO NOT use rideshare as there is no cell reception at Willow Beach so you will not be able to get a return ride.

What To Expect

Willow Beach Marina

Make your own way to the departure point where you will need to sign a waiver before starting the tour. Guests will have a chance to make any last minute purchases or use the restroom before departing to the river. The activity is 3 hours long on the water.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Celeste was AMAZING! My son and I had a wonderful time with her on the water. It was a perfect day - we couldn't have asked for better weather in such a beautiful place. It was for sure the highlight of our trip to Vegas. Highly recommend!

This was one of the funnest off-the-strip experiences I’ve had in Vegas. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and down-to-earth. We went in September when the weather was over 100 degrees out, yet it did not feel hot out on the water. The kayaks were easy to learn and maneuver, and the guide had plenty of water and snacks for everyone. The experience was more than just kayaking too. They stop for a short hike where you do a little sight-seeing, as well as a short stop for a swim. There are plenty of opportunities for some great photos too. This was an experience I will never forget and highly recommend to others. Next time I’m in Vegas, I want to try their nighttime kayak tour!

This was an excellent addition to tour Grand Canyon/Flagstaff/Sedona/Las Vegas trip this October! I was so glad we booked this half day trip. It was so beautiful, and not too strenuous after a week of hiking and other activities. Ray and Andrew were excellent guides—we couldn’t ask for more knowledgeable and patient guides. They made the trip extra special too when they paused so we could see some wildlife in the canyon.
