Half-Day Napa Valley E-Bike Tour

Overview
On a Half-Day Bike Tour, you'll enjoy the unique experience of biking through wine country and visiting a local winery while still finishing early enough to make other plans for your afternoon!

You’ll join a small group led by a local, knowledgeable Tour Guide who will enhance your understanding of the valley’s history and the romantic vine-to-bottle process. This tour will include one stop at a local winery (tasting fees not included)

Electric bikes make this tour fun for anyone who can ride a bike. Casual bikers will find they can confidently ride longer distances and cruise up hills with no problem. And experienced riders who are hoping for more exercise can turn the pedal-assist level down or completely off to get more of a workout.

After your bike tour concludes in Yountville, you’re welcome to keep your bikes to continue exploring on your own. Your Tour Guide will be happy to recommend favorite backroads to explore.

Napa Valley Bike Tours
After bike fitting & orientation (30 mins), your Tour Guide will lead you on a scenic ride alongside the vineyards. Tours are led at a casual pace. The emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering a local winery along the way. The winery visit will last approximately 75 minutes with plenty of time to engage your tasting host and learn about the wine-making styles and farming practices. Wine tasting fees are not included; you will pay tasting fees directly at the wineries during your visit (fees may be waived with minimum purchase). After your tour concludes in Yountville, you’re welcome to keep your electric bikes to continue exploring on your own. Your Tour Guide will be happy to recommend favorite backroads to explore.

Monticello Vineyards
Monticello Vineyards is owned and managed by three generations of the Corley family. Patriarch Jay Corley, came to Napa Valley in 1969 seeking land to plant an estate vineyard. He chose a parcel in the southern end of Napa Valley to plant the first vines for Monticello Vineyards. Fifty years later, the Corley family manages five different vineyards across the Napa Valley. Sons Kevin, Chris and Stephen manage the winery. A third generation of Corleys is now graduating college and beginning to take active roles in the family business. Specific winery visits are subject to change due to availability. Wine tasting fees are not included in the price of the bike tour (some wineries may be waived with minimum purchase).

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. You bike at a leisurely pace and the roads are flat so it's pretty easy. Our tour guide was great and let us take off and pedal ahead of the group on the Silverado Trail. We went to 2 different wineries, Cliff Lede and Andretti as in "Mario". Both were very good. Apparently, they don't visit the same ones each day, so you won't know until you start your tour. The tour lasted about 5 hours, so it's really longer than 1/2 a day.

I’m a cyclist who likes wine (or a wino who likes cycling) either way I booked this excursion as soon as we booked our holiday, that’s how excited I was. I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was great - friendly and knowledgeable staff, decent bikes and a lazy ride with wine. Possibly the best thing of the whole holiday. Visited 2 wineries and honestly could have stayed all day. Wonderful experience.

I was with 3 other women for a friends trip- one of us is a marathoner, the other 3 of us are novices. We all did well on the bike ride and loved the scenery. Mike was our guide, and he was awesome! He was knowledgeable and accommodating. We stopped at 2 wineries, both of which had great quality wine. The first was Monticello- Gayle was a lovely hostess, and we all bought wine, which was picked up by a van as a service of the tour. The second winery was Elyse, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Haley was our hostess and she was PERFECT! We loved her and her passion for wine. We also all bought wine from them. This tour was a highlight of our trip- we had beautiful weather, and really enjoyed all of the people we met. I highly recommend this tour.
