My husband and I took the half day Scenic Raft Trip this week and had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and lots of fun to be with. We are older, I am 76 and the trip was easily accomplished and I would do it again in a heart beat.

We took the, “scenic” float - FABULOUS! Hanna was our guide and not only was she fun & enthusiastic, but so knowledgeable about the river and GNP in general. We encountered a few “baby” rapids that were so great. We would paddle a bit, and then she’d tell us to stop throughout the tour. It was quite warm & my husband got to jump into the crystal clear beautiful water!! Also got a view of a bald eagle. I highly recommend this excursion and if you can get Hanna as your guide, it’s a bonus!

It was a beautiful float down the river with our awesome and super friendly guide Abby! We needed to pick an activity that met the physical requirements of a multigenerational family and this fit! Our group included one child that was too small for white water and one senior with limited knee mobility. “Exciting”, nope, but a beautiful way to get another perspective on the landscape. This is a great way to get on and in the river if you’re not keen on fishing or white water. Beside the beautiful landscape, don’t expect to see too much wildlife. We saw an eagle and fish while on the raft. On a procedural note: The company’s communication, organization and efficiency made for an easy process from start to finish. Can’t wait to do a whitewater trip the next time around.
