Many people have reported feeling inspired by these beneficial spiritual energy sources. Rachelā€™s Knoll was land purchased by a woman named Rachel who felt this site should be used for meditation, prayer gatherings, and simply to find peace.

This was a great tour, we lucked out with the weather and stopped at many different locations. Our tour guide Kai was wonderful. Would recommend.

The morning started with an inspiring visit to Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park. Our guide Casey provided a wonderful explanation of this venue as well as all the other venues we visited. His knowledge of Sedona and all of its history and lore, especially the ā€˜vortexā€ sites was eye opening. I great would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to know more about Sedona.

Our Guide/Driver was very polite, kind, accommodating and helpful. He gladly took our pictures, and passed around the water. He pointed out some of the good eating places and bars in the area. He also gave a short group talk about Sedona's vortexes. As indicated in the website, the Tour Stops were: Chapel of the Holy Cross, Sedona Airport Overlook, TlaquePaque Arts Village, Uptown Sedona & Lunch, Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park, and Rachel's Knoll. We appreciate that the Tour gave us an overview of the places to visit while in Sedona. All these sights can be reached by driving on your own, with a good map, except for the Rachel Knoll which I understand is privately owned. We appreciate too that the van has open-air windows which gave a full view of the area and most importantly--provided great air circulation. The bus was full and no social distancing is possible. However I have some observations: ā€” I feel the information on the geology, history of the rock formation and landmarks of Sedona is not adequate. I am really wanting for more! Our guide pointed out more of the eating places in Sedona which to me is secondary to the magnificent red rock formations. -- We did not "drive by" the Red Rock Scenic Byway---the Bell Rock and Court House Rock were just pointed to us while at the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Also, we did not drive by/pass by the Cathedral Rock as listed in the "Highlights Included". --ā€” The tour was less than the 5 1/2 hours advertised. We started at 10:00am and returned by 2:40 pm. Some areas can certainly be improved: more training/briefing for tour Guides; upgrading of the van (ceiling was peeling on the van we were on); an office or table to receive/welcome the tour participants, and maybe a uniform for the Guides/Drivers.
