Bring hats, towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, waterproof camera, GoPros, waterproof watch; wear bathing suit
Infants and children must be accompanied by caregivers
All passengers must be able to climb into the zodiac vessel from the beach
Check-in is 30 minutes before departure time

The crew of the Sanity could not be better. Captain Dan was incredibly friendly, and the two guides were extremely nice and not only knowledgeable about sea life in the area but extremely respectful of caring for the coral reefs and creatures we saw on our trip. We got lucky and saw a pod of dolphins swim by us while we were snorkeling, something the guides said was likely to happen only once a year. The group was mostly college-age people and people in their 20s and 30s. Not sure if this was a coincidence, but it was nice not having a lot of children on the boat. The trip out takes longer than you might think (I believe it was an hour to the first snorkel spot) but the crew provides food and drinks, and they're extremely gracious hosts. 10/10!

Kaanapali Ocean Adventures appreciates your 10/10! We are all about customer service and strives to provide our guests with the best experiences on their 1/2 day snorkel tour to the Island of Lanai. The owner loves Lanai because it's not crowded with other vessels for safety reason and being able to count our guests in the ocean. Safety is #1 and making our guests feel special and not have 100 guests on 1 turtle since of vessel holds 32 guest only with captain and 2 crew members keeping a close eye on everyone in the ocean. We have a perfect 38 year track reason with no accidents. We are one of the only owner operators left on Maui. Father and Daughter as our captains. The trip to Lanai during Humpback Whale season and Lanai is famous for schools of spinner dolphins is another reason. If anyone is going to see whales it will be us since we are not just taking our snorkeler close to shore on Maui. Big Mahalo for your 5 star review.

Captain Dan and his mate Robert were fantastic. Not only did we have two great snorkeling experiences, but also saw multiple whales! Captain Dan was able to get very close to the whales and was great about adding that element to our trip given the opportunity. Absolutely recommend this trip.
