Navajo owned and operated. On this, 5 1/2 hour, half day tour you will see two of the most sought after Canyons in the Page, Az area. Both Canyons are unique in their own separate ways. Upper is an “A” shaped canyon while lower is a “V” shaped canyon. Both Canyons are a bucket list check off for many people.

What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Our first stop is the Lower Antelope Canyon. – Lower Antelope Canyon is a MODERATE tour for guest. You will hike 1.1 miles from start to finish (1770.27 meters). Upon entering the Canyon, you will descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon. once at the bottom you will hike at a gradual incline towards the exit along with ladders and small stairs into each chamber of the Canyon. You may google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS, and you will have a visual of the steps and ladders (5 ladders & 2 small stairs toward the exit). The tour guides will give you photo tips and information of the Slot Canyons. As well as cultural information of the Dineh.

Big Lake Trading Post

After the Lower Antelope Canyon we will stop at a picnic area where you may use the restroom. Additional food and drinks may be purchased at this location.

Antelope Canyon

Our second portion of the tour will be at the Upper Antelope Canyon. Upper Antelope Canyon is an easy hike for guest. Transport to the entrance of the Canyon is located 4 miles from the main highway. From the drop off point at the entrance will be a 1-mile hike roundtrip (1609 meters). Upon exiting the Canyon, you will hike on an incline up and around the top of the Canyon and descend 150 steps staircase back to the vehicle drop-off point. You will do a 1-hour tour and will see the difference in the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

We had tours booked through Dineh Tours to visit both the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. They provided excellent service an our driver, Dominic, was very efficient and just so happen to get us on earlier tours. He was also very explanatory about how both tours would proceed. He even offered to take us to another area in Page that wasn't part of the booked tour. And, it was just as interesting. Both the Upper and Lower canyons were beautiful but I preferred the Lower as it had more formations.

Life changing 🙌! The engery from the rocks are amazing. I felt centered and peace for the first time in a long time. Ryan was an amazing tour guide in the lower Canyon! This is a must do tour.

High marks for our experience today. From the start, Dominic took care of us - on time and explained how everything would work. He was always there for us to ensure we got hooked up with the tour guides. He was also very informative about the Canyon and Navajo Nation and culture. Every step was well planned and executed. The tours themselves were more than amazing. Jalen was our guide for the lower and Wyatt on the upper. Both were informative, patient, took incredible pictures, and showed each person how to best photograph the canyons. Most interesting was their sharing of Navajo language, history, and culture. We wish we could have talked with Dominic, Jalen, and Wyatt the rest of the day. Overall an A+!!
