Signed up online after reading they are a small and independent operator, with a small boat (I dislike large crowds). On the day itself, I was assigned to the boat Sur Randy, and had Isiah and Daniel as our crew. I felt very safe at all times, and the crew was incredibly knowledgable. They were also friendly and explained what we saw very well to us. We were first to spot a feeding frenzy of at least a dozen humpback whales, which we were able to watch for over an hour before the crew decided to break off to look for other whales. On our way back, after what appeared to be a futile search for other whales (we did see another 3 humpback whales and another smaller feeding frenzy), the crew spotted a 'suspicious blow'. We waited for the whales to resurface not once, but twice, and the crew manage to get us a really close look at a couple of blue whales. I couldn't have asked for more, it was awesome!

We went on the Thursday 9am tour. Our captain, and deckhand Dan were both very skilled, friendly and gave information at the perfect pace, they took us out on the most amazing trip! 4 hours on the water and it flew by. Our captain spotted around 12 whales feeding and alerted other boats but as we were there first it felt extra special, the grey whales were diving and then coming right up out of the water showing their full mouths. Lots of seals and birds were there too for the feast. As we headed back to land our Captain again spotted the most amazing find, he knew from the spout it was likely a blue whale and so we waited for its 16 minute dive to finish before we got to see it from afar. He waited another 20 minutes for it to come up again and we got up for a closer look. One of the most amazing trips Iā€™ve been! Thanks guys!
