DUE TO THE COVID19 SITUATION-All guests and crew are required to wear PPE/Masks in order to board the trip and throughout the entirety of the tour
We have limited capacity on our tours to ensure guests can maintain at least a 6 foot distance at all times
Increased cleaning/sanitiation procedures have been implemented in order to ensure the safety of all guests on board

Amazing crew!! So fun and informative, the sea shantys really added to the trip! We saw several humpback whales who were so beautiful.

I have just called Discovery Whale Watch to cancel my trip as there is a "Small Craft Advisory" in place for the coming days with waves up to 8ft. I spoke to a lady who told me she could rebook me but unfortunately I won't be here to rebook as we are travelling like most people exploring the Pacific Coast. I pointed out the "Advisory" and she asked me if I was the "Captain", as he is the only one who can decide if the boat is cancelled. I was refused a refund as she said they offered sea sickness tablets and my life would not be in danger. I said the booking was for pleasure and not an endurance test but this made no difference. I guess what I'm saying is do not pay in advance under any circumstances as if there is bad weather you need to have a crystal ball to be able to get your money refunded. They don't care if you enjoy it they just want their boat out there and your money in their pocket unless the weather is that bad that you may die. Modern Day Pirates!!

Hello, I apologize for the response you were given. Yes, it is our policy that we do not allow refunds if trips are cancelled outside of the cancellation window, however, we do not want anyone to be miserable out there due to conditions and to enjoy their trip. Captains will not run trips if the weather is a safety issue. I would be happy to offer you a full refund. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure! We saw several humpback whales, Rizzo’s dolphins, a salmon shark as well as many sea lions! Andrew B., our naturalist, was knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing! He even sang several sea shanties which added to the authenticity of our whale watching experience. Our captain, Danny, was also excellent! He used a drone to make sure that we saw as much sea life as possible! Thanks for a great day!!!
