Our 2.5 hour raft trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This beautiful river follows along Glacier National Park and provides incredible views into the Park the entire way. You'll go through 9 named class 2 and 3 rapids while hearing legends, lore and history of the Park along your 8 mile journey down the river.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Youth rates apply for ages 12 and under. Minimum of 50 lbs. No maximum weight but must be able to wear a life jacket which can accommodate up to a 58 inch chest.
Wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet and footwear that stays securely on your feet such as tennis shoes, sneakers, water shoes or sandals with straps (please no flip flips of Crocs). We have water shoes available to rent for $5. Wet suits and splash jackets will be included and provided during the months of May and June or during periods of cooler weather. Trips depart rain or shine.

At the last minute we changed from a hiking trip to going on a whitewater rafting trip. Asked if we wanted scenic float or whitewater. We chose the whitewater trip and we were not disappointed. Wet Willy was our guide and he did a great job. He gave us the standard instructions but he also had great stories of the river, the history (great flood of '64), River Wild was filmed there. During slow times he encourages us all to jump in! Whew! The water was cool but so awesome! If you ever get to West Glacier be sure to look up Glacier Raft Company and ask to be on Wet Willy's raft. Emma, Patrick and I LOVED our trip!!!

We had an extremely fun time on our half day rafting trip on the middle fork on the Flat Iron River. The rafting was just the right thrill level for our party of 7 people. The reservation was very easy to make and all of the people at Glacier Rafting Company were super friendly. They were also very well organized. Our guide, Motts, was super also - he taught us all about how to manage the raft and he also was a pleasant narrator of our journey through numerous rapids along the way of the trip. The trip did not take quite as long (time-wise) as the description said, but that may be different on a day when the river is flowing more slowly.
