He is misleading to his customers, if you ask how the fishing is he will tell you to look on his instagram. Which would be fine except he posts pictures daily that are not accurate. I found while I was fishing he was “updating “ pictures that were not us or what was being caught. I think he keeps a bunch of photos to post making it appear that he has better success then is the case. Furthermore mark made up excuses everyday why the bait guy didn’t show up. After which we had to go fish for our own bait. I would be ok with this if that what was advertised, after catching a bunch of little herring for the live well I realized that there already was lots in there so he keeps all his customers catching bait to avoid buying any. Again that would be fine if he was up front about that. As for the charter he does work hard to catch fish but it won’t be targeted to what you want. You see mark keeps all the fish for himself to eat. Which I honestly don’t have an issue with but I was not interested in fishing for snapper or sailfish. I book with him making it clear that we only wanted to target sharks. Ryan is a good guy but he will help himself to your beer.... I would have been more then happy to share but maybe he should ask? Lastly don’t be in any panic to get out cause they leave late and return early. Mark if you read these, find the reason you started fishing in the first place, make it fun and don’t be such a Debby downer. Everyone realizes nothing is certain when fishing but you can’t blame the customers when the fish don’t bite..

LOLO..I dont remember many trips but for some reasons I do yours You are the Group On trip right? Your the people late showed up 2 hrs late and then we told you the bait guy already left to go home ! You are the people that spent all day on your cell phones..except when you got sick and threw up ( no doubt from looking into your phone all day). You are the people that offered The mate A beer on the way home ! we even gave you an extra 2 hrs for free because you showed up late ! as far as keeping all the fish we donate most of our catches to the homeless shelters in south Florida. I will say your delusional account of the day is hilarious if not total fabrication. Maybe fishing isnt a good hobby for you my friend! Yes I do remember your trip indeed.

Ive been fishing for a long time and we all dream about the day we'll run into the fish of a lifetime. Mark the Shark makes finding and fighting the animal of your dreams possible, and enjoyable. Great boat with lots of space and a crew with more than 20-30 years of fishing knowledge. Hang out in the bottom attending the rods or take a breather on the upper deck and enjoy the best views Miami has to offer. After this trip i will never look at fishing the same ever again. Learn techniques and about gear only seen on TV. And when that shark gets close get ready for the thrill of your life!

So my friend and colleague Rick wanted to take me out on my first saltwater fishing charter and he knew Mark The Shark from a previous trip. My first impression of Mark and his crew was that these were serious fishermen and I was a bit intimidated. Before we even left the dock, however, Mark, Ryan and Eloy were joking around with me, talking UFC fights and telling me I had nothing to be worried about when I told Mark I didn't know what I was doing on a fishing boat. He said, "Mike, I'm not worried about guys like you. I worry about the guys who tell me they know how to fish." And he was right. Not long into the trip a sailfish was on my line, and the guys talked me through my first catch. They were patient with me, and when we reeled in the fish, they were genuinely happy for me. On the way back, Mark gave me a tour of Star Island off the coast of Miami, and we had a fun time shooting the sh*t. To be honest I didn't even want to go fishing, but after that trip with Mark The Shark I have a great memory and I know I can go on my next fishing trip without much fear of embarrassing myself. The guys on this boat may look and sound like they just got off the set of Jaws -- and they do -- but they're really just good guys who want you to have fun. And they have fun too.
