Hamilton Musical Walking Tour

Overview
Take a song-by-song stroll through Hamilton’s rise and eventual fall as New York’s foremost Founding Father. This tour is designed for folks who have already seen or plan to see the 11 Tony Award winning Broadway production or those just addicted to the cast album. The tour puts the songs, history and lower Manhattan locations into perspective. The tour matches up individual songs with their actual location, including some bonus stops that help illuminate the time and place that Alexander Hamilton lived and died in. Each guest receives a Personal Listening Device to insure you hear every word and note, no matter how noisy the city gets.

I had high expectations for this tour and they were all met, if not exceeded. Chazz was a wonderful guide. The headsets he used helped me clearly hear the music from the musical while he provided an informative commentary. We walked for several hours to get a feel about what New York was like in the time of Alexander Hamilton. I took this tour to be better informed when I attend the musical Hamilton - you do not need to have seen the show to take this tour.

Chazz also seamlessly included local sites outside the scope of the Hamilton Walking Tour including 9/11 - nothing was missed. I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely use Chazz again as a guide when I return.

Our guide was incredibly informative and even if you are not a huge fan of Hamilton, the historic value of New York is worth it!

Chaz was a highly engaging tour guide - he even sings but doesn't rap. Full of knowledge, he is able to contextualise the hit musical by drawing on what really happened and where. This was a wonderful way to spend our morning before seeing the show that night. A must for lovers of history and Hamilton.
