During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

The tour guides (Steve and Web) were fun. They had fun stories about Kauai and were very attentive guides making sure we were all having a good time.

We took this tour 2/12/20. It started out rainy like every day in Kauai but bonus was many rainbows. Loved the 2 cousin tour guides as they are friendly and knowledgeable about the island they both were raised. We stopped in the river and was given a chat about the mountain names and terrain along with some history of hoe the island was habited. The tour goes down the river into the bay where you will snorkel in the reef in front of the Princeville Resort. The coral is has a little life in it so you can see some different fish and eels and saw some turtles on way back. The coral that you snorkel is most right up to the top of water so most parts are hard to snorkel as you can cut up to legs and crawl over some parts. There is a channel that goes in by the beach is deeper which I would suggest that area. We then had some sandwich’s and chips on the beach while the guide played his ukulele and cut up fresh coconuts (very Hawaiian). It was a great excursion and the guides tried so so hard to make it a great day.

Guides, Dan and Steve, were very patient with us being new to kayaking. Snorkeling was amazing. We were able to explore the coral reefs with instruction from Dan on where to go and where not to go. Would highly recommend to anyone.
