What To Expect
1
The Linq Promenade
The observation wheel happens to be situated smack in the center of Las Vegas’ most fun entertainment quarter, The LINQ. Enjoy 'grab and go'' seafood from Gordon Ramsay Fish abd Chips or munch on upscale Mexican fare at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar. Not hungry? Head to the Brooklyn Bowl to knock down some pins, or browse a variety of shops in the area.
2
High Roller
There's happy hour on the Strip, and then there's happy hour above the Strip. Hop in an climate-controlled pod and enjoy access to a full bar for the entire 30-minute revolution. The only thing you have to bring besides your ticket? Proof that you're 21 years old or older. Drink in hand, admire the neon-lit landscape as a recording of a witty narrator shares trivia about the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower). After the ride, browse in the Sky Shop for a reminder of your spin through Sin City’s celestial skies in the form of commemorative glassware or a tiny version of the High Roller itself. Last ride departs at 11:30pm.

This is worth going on at least once. It takes 30 min to do a rotation. At the top you have an amazing view. You can even see Bellagio Fountains. Give it a try.

Despite the attraction being highly rated I was ultimately disappointed in this ride when it could have been so much better. It began on arrival, I had bought "tickets" in advance online for the "Happy Half Hour" ride this is where you get the ride with a bar and server in the pod and you can drink all you want for the duration of the ride. However we walked into the "With tickets" line to be told that we still had to join the ticket line to convert into our tickets, so what's the point?! This isn't made clear on the website. Then when we finally got up to the wheel we were in a line to join the bar pods and when it came around the forced everyone into the same pod, when the next bar pod was only a couple of pods along. This resulted in extended periods between service - no doubt the reason for doing so - and difficulty in getting the photo opportunities as everyone was trying to get the same shots! So although enjoyable and quite good value I left with a feeling of disappointment for a ride that could have been so much better for me and my family for the sake of a 5 minute split.

We tried the Half Hour Happy Hour. The bartender was great even though our car was packed with people. Drinks were served as fast as you could drink them. Our only complaint was the price, but it was expected in Vegas.
