While strolling on the San Antonio Riverwalk, I found myself at the entrance of the iconic “Hard Rock Cafe”. The interior was predictably adorned with rock memorabilia: guitars, records, and posters.
The menu choices mirrored those of other Hard Rock Cafes worldwide: burgers piled high, nachos smothered in cheese, and towering milkshakes: nothing more than you would expect. Yet, as I sipped my cocktail and fries, I couldn’t help but steal glances outside. The Riverwalk, with its meandering pathways, lush greenery ans boats floated by filled of passengers waving cheerfully. So the real feast of the place was the view.
