There were 4 persons in our party our tour guide was Sammy . I thought this was suppose to be a chocolate tour , The only good part was The SwissBakers , We got to taste a mouthful of 2 brownies and mini cup of hot chocolate and one place, , a cookie at another place, We stopped in the middle of the street to sip some cacao juice Sammy had in her back pack, last place was The Cabot candy store which we were suppose to try white chocolate and didn't we were given 4 pieces of taffy and a sliver of chocolate peanut butter fudge. This to me is certainly not a chocolate tour , no dark chocolate or any chocolate for that matter. We couldn't hear her as it was a party of 12 , if I wanted pastry then you should have named it a pastry tour. I definitely would not recommend.

Thanks so much for your review of our small business. I know that Sammy greatly enjoyed meeting you guys, and I'm definitely sure she would have spoken up if you said something. I spoke with Sammy, and she confirmed that you were able to sample a wide variety of chocolate treats as promised: a flavored hot chocolate, two different ultra-rich brownies made from a special family recipe, Swiss chocolate treats and a coupon, a warm chocolate brownie, a locally roasted cacao bean from Peru, very special cacao juice straight from the fresh cacao bean which is a rarity to sample (!), a fair trade organic dark chocolate bar, a warm chocolate cookie that's a favorite in the area, salt water taffy from Cape Cod oceans, and handmade fudge. Wow that's a lot of chocolate for one adventure. And, all of this is detailed on our website under what to expect. We are always trying to improve the tour, and we'll take your feedback into consideration. We look forward to adding back ice cream on the tour this Spring once our favorite spot opens back up. Have a wonderful day.

I had a blast on my Chocolate Tour with Off The Beaten Path Food Tours and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a “sweet” way to have fun. I was part of a Bachelorette party that kicked off the weekend of celebration on this tour. Our guide Sarah, the owners Lizzie and Sam along with all the companies we visited went out of their way to make the bride-to-be feel special and create unforgettable moments for everyone to share with her. In addition to personalizing the tour, Sarah brought us to unique and delicious places most of us never thought to visit in Harvard Square. This tour was perfect and I can’t thank them enough for the special and memorable time!
