Per state of Texas regulations, masks are not required for outside activities. The vast majority of our tour is outside, however masks are encouraged for all customers. Masks are required when entering any historic buildings including the Driskill hotel.

Seeing how involved and excited Jim is about these tours really gets you excited and involved too! Honestly, sooooo worth it and if you have the chance 10/10 would recommend doing it. Not only is it “scary ghost stories” you actually learn some of the forgotten history about Austin.

This was an excellent way to learn a bit of history about Austin. Jim is super friendly and an excellent storyteller. We were in town from DC with our two sons (18 ad 14). Our 18 yr old is a super skeptic and while he may not be a believer he was entertained nonetheless. Our 14 year old, whose attention can be hard to hold, really enjoyed the tour. He found Jims stories interesting and engaging - so much so that he said he'd like to come back and take the murder tour that Jim also offers. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour for our family because we wanted to see the sights of Austin and also learn a little fun/spooky history. We were not disappointed! Jim Is an excellent Story teller and kept us entertained and engaged the whole time (even our 9 year old)! Jim is extremely knowledgeable about Austin’s history and is passionate about sharing it with people. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Austin!
