This tour fell in line with Austin's slogan, "Keep it weird." And of course, it was more so, spooky. But not too crazy - for instance, no ghost actors jumping out at us. In fact, we had two kids in attendance! (I would say they were over 7 and under 12, just in case you were wondering..) We were a very large group, so we had two tour guides and an apprentice. Both were passionate about Austin's history, plus they were quite animated in sharing their spooky stories. Only at the Driskill Hotel stop was the group split into two. For me, this was the creepiest location because of its associated ghost stories. Whether or not you believe in the super natural, you might want to pay attention here especially. Take photos and see if you see anything... Also, these guides have compelling photos. Just ask Jim (lead guide). All in all, it was a very informative, spooky 90 mins, which inspired me to look up more online. I'm glad my new found friend from Atlanta suggested we do this tour. It was a great way to top off our day. I mean, keeping it weird and all, y'all!

We really enjoyed the Austin haunted walking tour! It started with a brief history of austin and then went straight into the hauntings that occurred in Austin. We visited hotspots where the events had occurred and learning about ghosts in Austin. The tour guide was very informative. Highly recommend it while you're there!
