Our guide Tyler was very informative and had great spooky stories to tell us as we learned about the history of Austin! Met fellow travelers along the way!

Thank you so much for your review! Itā€™s always fun to meet and talk with other travelers during your ghost tour :-) we hope you enjoyed the Speakeasy Tavern and Driskill hotel! Please come back and see us again soon :-) if you liked the ghost tour, you might love our true crime offering, Murder Walk Austin! MWA chronicles the true life events of Austin 1885 when Americaā€™s first serial killer prowled the streets of this emerging cattle town. Thanks again for your review! This experience fell a bit short - especially given the exceptional reviews it receives. It may have been our less-than-enthusiastic tour guide, the fact that we covered less than 3/4 mi and basically walked around 1 city block, or that we stood outside of most establishments while our guide told a few cheesy ghost stories that were mediocre at best. Probably wouldnā€™t recommend.

I wish I could remember our guises name, but he was perfect for a ghost tour. He was the right mix of solemn, sincere and funny to make it entertaining. In a way, he reminded me of the dad from the Adamā€™s Family movies (which is ideal for his job)! He was a natural story teller, and knew enough of the history to be able to provide additional details if asked. Overall, it was a fun way to see some historic sites in downtown Austin.
