You will join our local historian on an hour and a half walking tour through Avalon. Together you will explore the spooky history and paranormal mysteries of Catalina Island. You will see historic sites, hear personal ghostly tales, and perhaps even spot something unexplained on your camera. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket.

Perfect nighttime activity in Catalina! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the walking tour and learning about the island’s haunted history. You get to see many sites- the tour begins near the pier (center of town) and ends at the casino after walking through the main strip and many of the side streets. Jess was a fantastic guide and had really detailed stories dating back to before the island was civilized to more recent incidents. She is also one of the strongest people I’ve come in contact with. Highly recommend.

Chuck made this tour worth every penny. He was hilarious and informative. He even recommended books where you can read more about the history of Catalina and the events he mentioned on the tour (and no, he didn’t write the books nor does he make money off of them like some haters have implied). He is a great story teller and tour guide. I can’t wait to see his episode about the ghost in the casino on the adventure channel! 10/10 would recommend. It’s a nice walk and wouldn’t be too strenuous for someone older or differently-abled in my opinion. It was so cool to hear stories from someone who was born and raised on the island. Thanks again Chuck!
