Though we had some trouble with the company in terms of booking the tour, the tour itself was great and the guide was fantastic. Having the tour guided by a historical figure (Samuel Chase) adds to the experience. The tour included a variety of stories around the Library of Congress and the Capitol grounds and the Supreme Court building. The guide gave historical information about the people in addition to the actual stories of the hauntings that have happened so you got a complete picture and it was all delivered in a very funny and theatrical manner. I've been on ghost tours in New Orleans, Gettysburg, Wilmington, NC, Cape May, Philadelphia, Boston, London, Munich and others and this is definitely one of the most enjoyable. I am a local and have always felt like DC lacks good ghost tours outside of October, so I recommend this one to both visitors and locals to hear a different side of history.

My fiance and I came down for the weekend to visit my family and we wanted to do something different than a typical DC tour. I found this online and I'm so glad I did! Samuel Chase was awesome! He was well versed and hilarious. He gave us real information about DC history along with the haunting tales that go along with it. Anyone who is going to DC needs to do this tour!!! I never ever write reviews, but I loved this so much I had to share!

This was fantastic! My son loves paranormal and so while in DC we booked this tour. It was rich with information and history about the city that no one talks about. I got goose bumps a few times and my son was intrigued the entire time. It was well worth the money. Take a camera with you that can get night photos to see if you can capture any spirits that roam Capitol Hill.
