The tales behind the hauntings were far-fetched and not very credible. Dan was a good guide, but the stories we’re just not compelling enough and were inconsistent in parts. While it was nice to hear some of the stories of early San Diego and its roots (those were the believable ones), the actual haunting stories lacked a bit in terms of depth and cohesion. It seemed like many buildings were not in their original locations, which didn’t make much sense given the fact that these buildings were originally constructed with brick and mortar that you can’t really just tear down brick by brick and move somewhere else. Also, things like none of the multiple storage buildings started off with multiple stories, yet the hauntings are now said to be taking place in parts of the building that weren’t even there originally. Those kind of things. It was a fun walk during a busy night in the gaslamp and I commend Dan for his efforts, but it fell a little short for me.

Very cool experience. Dan was a great guide. I would’ve liked to enter some of the buildings but understandable that that was not an option due to Covid restrictions.

Pretty much talked about history of the area. It was a boring tour walking from building to building and standing on the outside of it to talk about its history. It was loud around us and couldn’t hear much. Did not go inside anywhere, it was a sidewalk tour you can take on your own and look up haunted history of the area.
