Our tour guide was a bit quirky, but not in a relevant way. His “ghost stories” turned into tangents into his personal life and his other occupations aside from tour guide, and we felt very little of his spiel pertained to salem/the hauntings of this city. My friends were visiting from out of town, and we only had one night together to do something fun/memorable in the spirit of Halloween. This was an immense disappointment and a slight embarrassment.

We're thinking your group was just not into the tour from the start. This tour constantly gets 5 star reviews from a variety of different tour guides. We get thousands of guests join us from all across the world.

The lady was so nice but didn't show us up close to the stories given couldn't take any pictures. It was too many competitors to bump into each other that's why we stayed 200 feet from the places. It was so blah.

We keep our tour groups to 35-40 people while other companies go 50 or more. This makes it easier to get to the locations and gives ample time for people to catch the group before the guide starts talking. All of our guides use microphones so they are very loud. The crowds start coming to Salem in mid September. A weekend in October can be witness to 100,000 people a day and you need to prepare for that
