Haunted Memphis Walking Ghost Tour

Overview
Enjoy the darker side of Memphis and hear tales of the city's haunted heritage as told by professional storytellers. The city’s South Main Historic District – an eclectic, colorful area with some of the city’s oldest buildings – has a long history of sensational murders and ghostly activity. On this two-hour walking tour, you'll visit a number of haunted sites, including:
• The Orpheum Theater, home of "Mary," who has haunted performances since 1921
• The John Alexander Austin House, a Victorian era mansion haunted by star-crossed lovers
• The notorious Ernestine & Hazel's, a former brothel long recognized as one of the most haunted buildings in Memphis. We'll take you inside this creepy establishment, home to several ghosts as well as a haunted jukebox.

I wanted to leave this review for those who are not sure about these types of attractions so here goes, first our Tour guide Chelsea was absolutely amazing she was energetic, excited and very thorough with the information shared and because of that it really kept us engaged with the tour and not only did we get to hear the awesome ghost stories but she filled us in a little on some of the other historical events that took place. The second thing I wanted to share was how awesome they were to me because my original tour was scheduled for a Saturday and my son ended up in the hospital that night so they were very understanding and graciously rescheduled with no problem,I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Chelsea!

Our guide was very personable and told great stories. My daughter is in a wheelchair and the guide did her best to accommodate our needs. There were just a few bumps in the road. Overall a fun experience! The night life on Beale St was hopping so not sure I'd take young kids, but we did fine.

I made a reservation to attend the tour at 8:00 Sept 30 and drove from Nashville to attend. At 6:45 I luckily checked my email and found out they had cancelled the tour. Extremely bad service. They need to develop better plans to provide an appropriate level of service. Huge inconvenience.
