If you like socialising, drinking and listening to short stories, then this is a great tour for you! If you wanna hear ghost stories and the creepy past of Seattle then look for something else. My tour guide was new, so maybe that may be the reason, but there was not many ghost stories and the pubs/places we went to weren't even haunted. I was looking for a scare, and instead I just paid to bar hop with my friends.

We were in town celebrating a birthday and signed up for the ghost pub tour. Abby was great and we enjoyed not just the fun ghost stories but learning about local history too. Highly recommend!

A coworker snagged the groupon deal for this tour for a few of us, and I was excited to go. We're tour guides, ourselves, and I was curious to see how another company and guide do their thing in my town. Abby was a talented story teller and guide, considerate of the need to raise her voice over the hustle and bustle around us, and keep pace with the group. She had a great sense of humor and a good knowledge of her stories (or where her knowledge lacked, she was forthcoming about what she did not know, which is a relief to see when so many people pretend to know things or gloss over incomplete historical accounts.) And even as a person who doesn't believe in ghosts, she made it engaging and fun. She handled the pressure of a gaggle of Seattle Tour Guides filling up a mostly tourist based adventure with grace, and she was super supportive of connections and conversations between the stories, inviting feedback and input from her guests. I like the format of "get a drink, settle in, ghost stories, walk to the next space, and repeat" The only feedback I would offer that is constructive is that referring to the Native American tribal people in this area as "Indians" is like nails on a chalkboard to my Seattle-minded brain, though I'm sure it's not a huge deal to many visitors, or even locals. That's the only thing I could think to nitpick on, in an otherwise super enjoyable and fun experience!
