Old Jail Museum

Get ready for an up close and personal encounter of the town’s most haunted building, the Old Jail. Listed on the Florida and National Register of Haunted Places and is the site of countless documented paranormal experiences. Unlock the secret of an (EVP) voice recording captured during a real paranormal investigation and its possible connection to the well-known hangings carried out on the site. Cameras or camera phones are recommended to take pictures through the building’s famous and ominous windows and potentially capture something unworldly! Send us your pictures and we will evaluate them for paranormal activity and may even share them on our social media pages.

Buyer beware! As part of our Florida vacation, we decided that on our way back home to North Carolina from vacationing in Sarasota, that we would have a stop over in St Augustine and take a ghost tour. We made our reservations with them and on the morning of the date of the tour, we made our way across the state to St Aug. But as we drove there, we ended up with 2 flat tires in the middle of nowhere and could not find a tow truck company to help us. So we were stranded and knew we couldn’t make our reservation. So we called “Trusted” Tours several hours before our tour was to begin and canceled. When we asked for a refund due to these uncontrollable circumstances, we were rudely told no and that the website plainly said “no refunds” but that we could reschedule up to a year later. We don’t live in Florida nor do we regularly vacation in Florida so these tickets are useless and we are out $114.56. You would think that a company called “Trusted Tours” would be willing to be a little more accommodating. There are plenty of other things to do in St Augustine with people and companies that are a lot more understanding. Congratulations to Trusted Tours and their Ghosts and Gravestone Tours for giving St Augustine a bad rep! Lesson learned.
