Volcanoes eruptions will amaze you with it's size and active volcanic eruptions. The lava flow area includes 323,431 acres of land. Over half of the park is designated the Hawaii Volcanoes Wilderness area. The park encompasses diverse environments that range from sea level to the summit of the Earth's most massive active volcano.

rained all day but the tour leader keep us moving to different locations some of which may not have been part of the tour
