Overview

The Scoot Coupe is sleek, elegant, practical and just plain fun. Only a car license is required to rent a Scoot Coupe. It is the only two person moped in Hawaii. Passengers must be at least 7 years old.

Designed only for riding in Honolulu. The Scoot Coupe is great for riding around Diamond Head, up towards Manoa Falls, down into the Punchbowl Cemetery, Downtown Honolulu, Kaka'ako, Magic Island and Waikiki.

Equipped with bluetooth speakers so you can listen to your favorite music while turning heads at every corner. The rental includes helmets, a lock, a custom tour map and gas.

Our experience didn’t get off to a smooth start. Our first car was very beat up, broken side mirror, rear signal and brakes didn’t work and the steering column was very loose. We circled back around to switch out cars and the second car had a non-functioning taillight/signal again. Third times a charm because our third car was fully functioning. It was nice to have the car for a day to get to places we couldn’t walk to. There was the occasional car driver that would insist on cutting you off or try to get you to go faster but we felt pretty safe. The coupes go pretty fast. Bring sunscreen!

This was a great way to see Waikiki and the beautiful ocean. We had a blast and we felt safe. It would be great for any age!

Scoot Coupe was great, very fun to take around. Staff was great and is very helpful and courteous. I do agree that paperwork takes some time, but overall not really a big deal. Scoot Coupes could be maintained better though… seats are worn down, and Bluetooth speaker did NOT work on both our vehicles. Also, even though seatbelts are NOT mandatory they said, it would have been great to have one—driver side was broken. I do recommend this for it’s a great way to cruise Waikiki and other areas, and a great family outing.
