Me and my friends had such a nice day with Carol. We were celebrating my friends 28th birthday and didn't want to spend it in quarantine. They have never really gone wine tasting, but they really enjoyed experiencing something new. Healdsburg is such a cute little town filled with shopping, dining, and wine tasting. We were paired with Carol and had the tour all to ourselves. Carol took us to 5 stops on the tour. There was three stops for wine and two non-wine stops. I enjoyed the format because it really broke up the tastings into a more enjoyable experience mixed with wine, art, tea, and ice cream. I highly recommend this company! During this difficult time, I think now is more important than ever to support small businesses. You will not be disappointed. I will be back to bring my mother by. Thanks again for such a hospitable and fun day.

So this past Sunday we did the half day food and wine tasting tour. I called in like a week to ask if the tour person could do something a little special for my sister's 50th bday celebration. The booking lady sounded very nice and assured me that she will inform the tour person to do something a little bit nice for her. Well, the tour person totally forgot about it and I didn't want to ask and make it so obviously in front my sister and friends. We want to make it a little nice and a surprise for her. Oh well, it didn't turn out that way. A bit disappointed. Also with the last stop called Rock pile Vineyard, the host just pour the wine and then walk away. Didn't even bother to tell us what he was pouring for us or provide a little details about the bottle wine etc. Quite a unfriendly host. We didn't enjoy the last stop. Felt as we are nuisance being there.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear we didn't acknowledge your sister's birthday as you had expected. When we spoke on the phone, a week before the tour, we discussed the differences between a public and private tour. I had offered to arrange a private tour for you. You had booked a public tour through a third party. On our public tour we are very aware of all of our guest's needs and requests and also make every effort to respect their privacy. A birthday wish was said to your sister at the beginning of the tour when it first started however the response was very subdued. Our guide thought she was embarrassing your sister as your sister seemed to look uncomfortable. Out of respect, our guide hesitated acknowledging your sister's birthday further thinking if it was welcomed, someone in your party might toast your sister a birthday wish themselves and then our guide would have continued to do so herself. The pictures we sent to you after the tour seem to show you all having a great time. We hope you will have fun trying to create some new wine and food pairings at home with the tips you learned on our tour.
