Join us to experience the art of Wine & Food Pairing in a fun, casual way. Discover why certain wines taste better with specific foods. We’ve partnered with local wineries & chefs, to offer you a wonderful arrangement of unique tastings.

Meet your Guide in Gazebo in the Healdsburg Plaza. After a brief orientation of town, you’ll be on to your first winery visit where you’ll enjoy a private seated wine & food pairing. You'll continue your adventure to enjoy another tasting of boutique wines creatively balanced with simple foods. Each pairing will make you rethink the way you experience food and wine. Listen to the winemakers & their families as they share their stories, passion and unparalleled love of the fertile land they call home.

My girl friend and I had made reservations in Healdsburg before the fires broke out. We decided that the best thing we could do was keep all of our plans in place. Healdsburg is open for business. We took the Wine and Food Pairing Walking Tour in 2014 and decided to take the tour again. A great decision! It was actually a "new' tour for us because we visited 3 different wineries. Our tour included Stephen and Walker Winery, Spicy Vines, and Roadhouse Winery. Each was a little different and each was excellent. The Roadhouse Winery did something different...we tasted 3 different Pinot Noirs with the same food, a mushroom and pancetta pizza from the Oakville grocery. Harold is an excellent tour guide and again impressed us with his knowledge of the wineries and the other places we visited (Russian River Tea Company and Costeaux Bakery) In addition to recommending this tour for first times, I would also recommend it for a 2nd timers.

We were advised not to go to Healdsburg right after the fires, but decided to go anyway. It was not a mistake! We happened to meet Harold from Wine Country Walking and signed up for the tour. It was wonderful and changed the way we eat and drink. We felt like superstars as we were the only ones on the tour. If you are thinking about cancelling your trip to wine country after the fires . . . . DON'T! You will be welcomed with open arms. There's still plenty to do, especially in the beautiful town of Healdsburg. Thank you Harold for giving us an experience we will never forget; wonderful wine, fabulous food, and a whole lotta' laughs.

I can't recommend Healdsburg Wine and Food pairing walking tour highly enough. The tour was fun, informative, we got to sample many wines and attempt to discover the keys to great food pairings. This really was a walking tour that is a step above the typical tour. Our tour guide Marty was engaging and got us think about different wines with different foods. We also felt like VIPs being whisked in to all these great Healdsburg venues. The staff at each venue were happy to welcome us, and there was no pressure to buy from them, instead we were told we could come back at any time in the day and we would be looked after. And of course, by doing this walking tour we got to see the beautiful town of Healdsburg with a local. Would highly recommend.
