Our tour guide never showed up. They sent us with another tour, I’m not even sure what it was called. But we had children with us and were told it wasn’t kid friendly. Needless to say I had to leave half way through with the smaller kids and wasn’t refunded. The group also ended up being too large to really get the full effect. We were never offered any sort of compensation for our guide just never showing.

Hi. Our deepest apologies for Nina not making it to your tour. She was in the emergency room. So we did ask Lance to take your group along with his, rather than send you away without a tour. If you had contacted the office via phone or web we would have immediately issued you a refund and we still will. Please call or email and I will take care of it promptly. I am very sorry that you didn't get the experience that you were hoping for.

We had a small group, which was nice. The guide that we had seemed like he had someplace else to be. The pace was brisk to say the least. The stories were quick without too much detail. Any questions for clarification were blown off by the guide. The emphasis on tipping was a bit much at the end. As I said, the group was small; myself and my friend and two other ladies. The guide should be a bit more aware of his 'audience'. There was an attempt at a fairly misogynistic joke that fell flat with the group. All in all, disappointing.

This tour was recommended saying it had good ghost stories and was the most historically accurate. We were told by the company that it was not recommended for ids under 16, which I definitely do not understand after having done the tour because none of the stories were even remotely scary/unsettling. We travel a lot and make a point to go on tours and this was super disappointing. We learned very little and the ghost stories were minimal. The whole tour felt very rushed. The other people we were with in the group had made multiple comments about wanting to stop for a bathroom break or to duck into a local bar to grab a beer and the tour guide was very dismissive and would continue walking without paying attention to us following behind. On our way from spot to spot it felt like we were little kids trying to catch up on school trip and there was no conversation whatsoever in between spots and when we got to a spot it felt like the guide was trying to speed talk through the stories he did tell us. He mostly just showed us images on his phone that had been sent to him by other people and came off as though he was trying to validate the tour. He bashed other tour companies we saw along the way, which I found really unprofessional, and didn’t even thank us when we gave a $20 (undeserved) tip on a tour for two that cost of $40.
