The tour was as delicious as it was informative. Claire is a great guide—entertaining and full of interesting tidbits about the neighborhood. Lots of food and we have already been back to one spot. And we just did the tour this afternoon!

A fabulous walking tour of Hells Kitchen with our guide Nicky. He was so knowledgeable and interesting and we learnt a lot about the gangs involved in New York. Great varied food stops. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting NYC either for the first time or like us on our 6th trip.

This is a fantastic tour! The food was amazing; I can't wait to recommend several of the restaurants to friends. Also, we got a TON of food--I could barely finish it all but I desperately wanted to because it was so delicious! Some food tours I've been on can be stingy with the food, giving you very small samples at each place. That was not the case on this tour at all. We got a hearty helping of food at each place, and our guide Jake checked in constantly to see if we had enough, wanted a drink, needed more of something. Speaking of Jake, if you book this tour, ask for him to be your guide! He was the BEST--friendly and funny and a spectacular storyteller. Over the course of the tour, he shared a ton of fascinating stories from the area that all connected to explain the history and development of Hell's Kitchen, and he did it in such in engaging way, sprinkled with humor and personal stories. Best food tour I've ever been on!
