Hidden Gems of Boston Common, Beacon Hill, & Public Garden

Overview
Take a walk through Boston Common and Public Garden, listening to the lesser-known stories from Boston's history as told through the forgotten plaques and monuments hiding in plain sight. The tour focuses on stories not covered by the historical tours, instead showing off Boston's eccentric past.
The tour starts at the Boston Common Visitor Center and takes the visitors on a 1.5 hour long route through Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and ending in the Public Garden. Learn about how Boston was first settled and grew into the city it is today. Tales of strict Puritan values mix with a long-standing history of rebellion and corruption to paint a picture of the duality that is the core of Boston's spirit.

If you want to learn about stuff you won't hear on one of the generic Boston tours, this is your ticket! Maria was extremely knowledgable and funny, kept us nicely in the shade on a hot day, and was clearly passionate about her city.
