We went on a guided hike to Cub Lake with Austin. The group was about 8 people large, mixed ages and abilities and Austin did a great job of choosing a 7 mile / 4 hr hike that was suitable for everyone with maximum scenery. We went at a steady pace, that was mostly flat with a 25-minute elevated section. The altitude was felt as we climbed the final section, but I think anyone with a basic general fitness would be fine to do this walk. Plenty of rest stops to lean about the wildlife, geography/geology and just chat along the way. Austin is a great laugh to be around and possibly the most zen guide on the planet. The group was well taken care of. September is a great time for hiking here. If you're short on time and don't want to worry about planning/logistics, then this is a great option for a day trip in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

A small group of us gathered in Denver to meet Robyn, our guide for the day. She greeted us all enthusiastically and that energy kept flowing throughout the day as we drove out to the National Park. We were treated to a plethora of geographical and nature facts, with Robyn explaining how the landscape had been shaped and making sure to point out special features as we hiked towards a beautiful lake where we ate lunch (keeping an eye on the cheeky chipmunks who liked the look of our delicious sandwiches). Throughout the day, Robyn made sure that we were all comfortable with the pace at which we were walking and offered us top-ups of water for our bottles. I was left with an appetite for future adventures in the area and highly recommend taking this tour if you get the chance.

My wife and I had such a great time on the hike. Kyle was an amazing hiking guide. He was very energetic and made sure we were all safe and having a great time. We will be coming back to Colorado and hopefully getting to do future hike with Kyle and Aspire. If you are planning a trip to Colorado I highly recommend this company to go hiking with.
