This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

We had a great experience in Rocky Mountain National Park. The hike was challenging and we felt accomplished by completing it. Guide Kyle was engaging and encouraging and did a great job of taking care of everyone in the group and being inclusive of everyone with various fitness levels. He was a wealth of knowledge and we all (adults and teens) felt like we learned a lot about the park and the Rocky Mountains in general, as well as odd local folklore. When we return we will definitely seek out Kyle as a guide again.

Our favorite part of the experience was Kyle's expertise and personality! Before the hike we got to see Big Steve the elk and all of his girlfriends! The hike was awesome and got to see some excellent views, and took many pictures. Don't forget to ask Kyle for his chilaquiles recipe!
